Calesta-P is a well-balanced nutritional syrup combining Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D3, and Zinc. Calcium is essential for bone mineralization and muscle function; Vitamin D3 enhances calcium absorption; Magnesium supports bone density and nerve transmission; Zinc aids growth and immune function. This formulation is ideal for children, adolescents, pregnant/lactating women, and the elderly to prevent deficiencies, promote healthy bone development, and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
Calcium: The most abundant mineral in the body, 99% stored in bones and teeth. It is essential for
bone structure, muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and blood clotting. Inadequate intake leads to
osteopenia, osteoporosis, and increased fracture risk.
Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol): Enhances intestinal calcium absorption by up to 80%. Without sufficient
vitamin D, the body cannot absorb calcium effectively, regardless of intake. It also modulates immune function.
Magnesium: A cofactor for over 300 enzymes, including those involved in bone metabolism and
vitamin D activation. Magnesium deficiency impairs calcium utilization.
Zinc: Essential for growth, cell division, and immune function. It also supports bone formation
