Eclear ear drops combine three potent agents: Neomycin (broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic) kills bacteria, Clotrimazole (azole antifungal) eradicates Candida and dermatophytes, and Beclomethasone (potent corticosteroid) rapidly reduces inflammation, itching, and swelling. This triple-action formula provides comprehensive treatment for otitis externa (swimmer's ear), bacterial/fungal otitis media with perforation (if tympanic membrane intact), and chronic suppurative otitis media. It relieves pain, discharge, and itching within days.
Neomycin: An aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit.
Active against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Proteus, E. coli, Klebsiella, and Enterobacter.
Clotrimazole: An imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis, disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity.
Active against Candida albicans, C. tropicalis, C. glabrata, Aspergillus fumigatus, and Malassezia furfur.
Beclomethasone dipropionate: A potent corticosteroid that suppresses inflammation, reduces edema, erythema, and pruritus
by inhibiting phospholipase A2 and cytokine production (IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α).
This combination provides rapid symptomatic relief while eradicating both bacterial and fungal pathogens, reducing the need for multiple products.

Adults & Children (>12 years): 3–4 drops in the affected ear(s) three to four times daily.
Children (2–12 years): 2–3 drops three times daily.
Duration: 7–10 days. Do not exceed 10 days without medical review.
Shake the bottle well before each use. Tilt the head sideways so the affected ear faces upward. Pull the earlobe gently downward and backward (for children) or upward and backward (for adults) to straighten the ear canal. Instill the prescribed number of drops. Keep the head tilted for 2–3 minutes to allow penetration. Wipe any excess solution. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface (including the ear) to avoid contamination.

Common side effects (usually mild and local):
Ototoxicity (hearing loss): Neomycin is known to cause cochlear and vestibular damage, especially if used in
a perforated eardrum or for prolonged periods. Do not use if tympanic membrane perforation is suspected or confirmed.
Contact dermatitis: Neomycin is a common contact sensitizer; discontinue if rash or severe itching occurs.
Fungal overgrowth: Prolonged use may lead to superinfection with non-susceptible organisms.
Store below 25°C (77°F), protected from light. Do not freeze.
Discard 4 weeks after first opening. Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use.
