Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for skin infections.
It contains terpinen-4-ol, a compound with proven antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory activity.
Antifungal action: Effective against dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Epidermophyton) and
Candida species, making it ideal for tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), and
tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor).
Antibacterial action: Kills Propionibacterium acnes (acne-causing bacteria) and
Staphylococcus aureus, reducing body acne and folliculitis.

Wet skin thoroughly. Pump an adequate amount of body wash onto a loofah, sponge, or hands. Massage gently over the body, paying extra attention to areas prone to acne, fungal infections, or body odor (back, chest, underarms, feet). Rinse well with water. Use daily for best results. For fungal infections, leave the lather on the affected area for 1–2 minutes before rinsing.
